Facilities Support Officer

Maxima have been engaged to find Facilities Support officers for our client based in Adelaides Southern Suburbs.

Our client is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Caretaking & Facilities Support Officer to support the day-to-day operations onsite for them. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and works well in a fast-paced team environment.
The Caretaking team plays a vital role in ensuring work spaces are functional, safe, and ready for teaching, events, and daily operations. You will be a key customer-facing team member, using initiative and judgement to meet service standards while supporting staff and clientele across the site.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and pack-down of onsite events, including temporary infrastructure
  • Relocate furniture and equipment for staff and departments
  • Collect and transport full wheelie waste bins
  • Deliver consumables and operational items across sites
  • Transport items between multiple sites when required
  • Set up teaching rooms, operable walls, function spaces, and event equipment
  • Undertake minor handy service and maintenance-related tasks
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and security teams during events and operational activities
  • Respond to customer requests promptly and professionally
  • Ensure service standards are consistently achieved
  • Escalate maintenance or facilities-related issues for further action

  Essential Requirements

  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to work across multiple locations if required
