Flooring Apprentice | Cert III in Flooring Technology

Maxima, on behalf of our Host Employer based in Bowden, is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to commence a Certificate III in Flooring Technology.
This is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining a nationally recognised qualification while working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of commercial, industrial and residential projects across Adelaide.
Our Host Employer is a well-established South Australian business specialising in concrete polishing, epoxy flooring systems, and concrete remediation. Their reputation is built on delivering high-quality finishes, maintaining strong safety standards, and fostering a supportive team environment.
Your Role
As an Apprentice Flooring Technician, you’ll develop valuable trade skills and gain practical experience across all aspects of specialised concrete flooring and surface preparation.
Duties may include:
- Concrete grinding and polishing
- Surface preparation and floor remediation
- Assisting with epoxy flooring applications
- Operating specialised flooring machinery and equipment
- Learning flooring preparation and finishing techniques
- Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes
About You
To be successful, you will:
- Have a genuine interest in the construction industry
- Be reliable, punctual and motivated to learn
- Enjoy practical, hands-on work
- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Be physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Work well within a team environment
- Be committed to completing a Certificate III in Flooring Technology
- Hold a current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Hold a White Card or be willing to obtain one
No prior experience is required.
We are looking for someone with the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
