About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to support warehouse and raw materials operations within a busy manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring materials are received, stored, and supplied efficiently to production areas. This position requires a strong focus on safety, inventory accuracy, and maintaining an organised warehouse.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts to transport and supply materials throughout the site.
- Loading and unloading trucks while checking deliveries against documentation.
- Maintaining stock accuracy through stock rotation, cycle counts, and inventory transactions.
- Ensuring materials are stored correctly and warehouse locations remain organised.
- Supporting housekeeping, waste management, and workplace safety initiatives.
- Liaising with internal teams regarding stock levels and material requirements.
About You
You are a reliable and safety-focused forklift operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You take pride in maintaining accurate inventory records, work well within a team, and consistently demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Required Skills & Experience
- Current Forklift Licence (High Risk Licence required).
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Experience with stock control, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
- Grab Forklift and Kanban experience highly regarded but not essential.
