Maxima has been engaged to recruit a Freight Handler to work in a fast-paced environment at Adelaide Airport.
About the role
Initially a casual position, with the possibility of permanency after a trial period.
The job involves a mixture of Stores / Forklift Driving, handling / lifting fresh / frozen foods and x-raying products as a part of the export process.
The working hours are Monday to Friday – generally from 4:00 am through until around 12:00 pm. (with the possibility of Saturday in the build up to Christmas)’
About you
You enjoy working in a team environment – and keeping fit at work (the work involves frequent lifting of up to 22 Kilograms You have the ability to pass a Police Clearance and a Full Medical. You are okay working around food including frozen meat products, and have the ability to learn and follow safe operating and export procedures
