Maxima has been engaged to recruit up to five Freight Handler / Forklift Operators for our host employer based near Sydney Airport. Working on a set rotating roster, with shifts commencing from 4:00am through to 5:00 pm.
Whether you’re an early starter who enjoys finishing mid-day, or someone who prefers afternoon shifts to keep mornings free — there’s flexibility to suit your routine.
About the Role
You will be working in a specialist cold-chain air freight export service, supporting the safe and efficient international transport of perishable food products.
Your duties will include:
- Scanning export consignments as part of quarantine compliance procedures
- Manual handling of polystyrene food containers (approx. 22kg when full)
- Palletising freight ready for international departure
- Supporting cold-chain handling processes
- Load / unload trucks using a forklift
- Processing freight consignments electronically for tracking and traceability
This role plays an important part in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of Australian food exports.

Key Requirements
- A current Forklift Licence (LF) (preferred but not essential)
- Strong physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive lifting (22kg)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol screening
- Eligibility to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
