Maxima has been engaged to recruit 2 x Freight Handlers for ongoing positions located at the airport.
Role 1
This is an ongoing casual position, working 4:00am – 12:00pm Tuesday to Saturday. (frequent lifting)
Role 2
Monday – Friday 4am- 12pm (medium amount of manual handling)
Key Requirements:
A High-Risk Forklift License is desired for this role along with a solid work fitness level. The ability to pass a full medical and police clearance.
Duties include:
- Loading and unloading of freight by hand and through the operation of a forklift
- Breaking down pallets, X-raying individual cartons and rebuilding pallets.
- Working in a team to achieve freight and service targets.
