Maxima Recruitment Services is seeking experienced Horticulture Labourers to join our Local Government clients across Adelaide and surrounding suburbs.
These are casual positions offering full-time hours (Monday to Friday) on an excellent 9-day fortnight roster, with competitive hourly rates of $40-$50 per hour depending on your experience and licences.
Your Day-to-Day Duties
You’ll be involved in maintaining beautiful parks, reserves and open spaces, including:
- Operating front deck mowers
- Gardening and general horticultural maintenance
- Landscape labouring
- Verge maintenance
- Slashing
- Hedging
- Operating minor plant and equipment
- Following WHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace
What You’ll Need
To be successful, you’ll have:
Essential
- Gardening and grounds maintenance experience
- White Card
- Ability to work independently
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol screening if required
Highly Regarded
- Certificate III in Horticulture
- Front Deck Mower experience
- MR Truck Licence
