About the Role
As a Garden Maintenance / Horticultural Worker, you will be responsible for the upkeep and presentation of extensive grounds, gardens, and open spaces. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will perform a variety of horticultural and landscape maintenance duties to ensure outdoor areas remain safe, attractive, and well maintained.
  
Key responsibilities include:

  • General garden and grounds maintenance
  • Mowing, edging, pruning, hedging, and weed management
  • Planting, mulching, watering, and irrigation activities
  • Safe operation and maintenance of horticultural equipment and tools
  • Assisting with site preparation and manual labour tasks as required
  • Maintaining high standards of presentation across all work areas

About You
You are a motivated and physically fit horticultural professional who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering quality work. You have practical experience in garden maintenance and can work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
You are dependable, safety-focused, and committed to maintaining professional standards while carrying out a range of grounds maintenance activities.
  
Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in garden maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture
  • Current Driver’s Licence (essential)
  • Current National Police Clearance (essential)
  • White Card (essential)
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including functional assessment, audio test, oral fluid drug and alcohol screening
  • Strong understanding of safe work practices and manual handling
  • Horticultural qualifications are desirable but not essential; demonstrated industry experience is preferred
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
