Maxima’s Recruitment Services are seeking a HR Business Partner for an assignment within Local Council. In this role you will provide expert advice, support, and guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring best practice and compliance with employment legislation and Council policies.
Working Monday to Friday you will be based in Tewantin with a casual hourly pay of $55.39 + super.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively build and maintain strong partnering relationships with internal customers and foster a collaborative engagement approach to build capability and effectiveness as people leaders and employees
- Provide expert advice and guidance to all leaders and employees in the areas of industrial relations, employee relations, employee engagement and wellbeing, workforce planning, attraction and retention, recruitment and selection, change management, performance and disciplinary management, employee development and interpretation of Certified Agreement, Awards, policies, and legislation
- Provide high level support, advice and coaching to leaders and employees
- Contribute to the development and implementation of People and Culture strategies
- Participate in the review, development, and implementation of People and Culture services, programs, policies, and projects
- Lead internal investigations on employment related matters and case manage and mediate workplace grievances, disputes, and disciplinary related matters
- Prepare high quality, accurate and timely written advice including reports, briefs, correspondence, and contracts to inform, take action, and respond to requests
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Current C class drivers license
- Demonstrated ability to provide specialist HR advice and process facilitation to diverse client groups
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and coaching skills with a strong focus on providing quality customer service, managing customer relationships, and building the profile of HR across the organisation
- Experienced in Change Management, Conflict Resolution, Employment Legislation and HR Strategy/ Advisory
