The Role:
Maxima, and our Host Employer, are looking for motivated individuals to undertake an Information Technology Traineeship. There are multiple positions available.
These entry level traineeship opportunities will see you working fulltime, providing efficient and effective helpdesk support to all staff and customers. With exposure to a range of IT infrastructure, systems and issues, you will have the skills and expertise to enter any domain upon completion.
Across 12 or 24 months you will be studying towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Information Technology or Certificate IV in Information Technology, gaining industry experience, as well as receiving continuous mentoring from a dedicated Maxima consultant.
Duties Include:
- Handle incoming IT related enquiries and requests from staff
- Provide tech support and troubleshooting
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance to IT equipment
- Liaise with vendors to escalate issues and maintenance
- Gather reports on ticketing and system issues
- Work with a mixture of Microsoft, Google, Android, and Apple technologies
About You:
- Enthusiasm for all things IT related
- Passion to deliver exceptional customer service
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Displays initiative and a hardworking attitude
- Ability to prioritise tasks and juggle various deadlines
Role Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications and operating systems
- Hold a National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (preferable)
- Customer service experience (desirable)
