The Role:

Maxima, and Country to Coast Queensland, are seeking a dedicated individual to undertake an Information Technology Traineeship.

Located at the Maroochydore office this role will see you assisting to maintain daily operations with a key focus on providing ICT support services across the organisation, including computer hardware and software, desktop and user support services.

Throughout this traineeship you will gain hands-on experience, paid training and continuous mentoring towards gaining a nationally recognised Certificate III in Information Technology.

Duties Include:

  • Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of ICT systems providing technical support to end-users
  • Assist the managed service provider helpdesk to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues providing technical expertise and assisting users
  • Document and escalate support issues by lodging helpdesk requests with the managed service provider helpdesk
  • Maintain ICT Asset, ICT System, and ICT Change Log registers and role access matrix
  • Maintain and create documentation and training materials
  • Apply and maintain security controls
  • Provide exceptional customer service to various stakeholders
  • Additional administrative duties as required

  • Enthusiasm for all things IT related
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • High attention to detail and problem solving skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Displays initiative and a hardworking attitude 
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and juggle various deadlines 

Role Requirements:

  • Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications and operating systems
  • Previous information technology or customer service experience (desirable)
