 The Role:
  
Maxima, and our Host Employer, are looking for a dedicated individual to undertake a Business Administration Traineeship. A traineeship is a structured entry-level pathway that combines on-the-job training with formal learning. As a trainee, you’ll gain industry experience while developing practical skills through a supported workplace whilst studying a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business Administration qualification. This traineeship is an 18-month fulltime position, located within the eastern city fringe.

National Traineeship wages and conditions apply. Traineeship wage is based on highest level of schooling and year completed. Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply. 
 
Duties Include:

  • Answer incoming calls
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries
  • Generate and follow up quotes
  • Prepare client correspondence
  • Provide updates on client status reports
  • Assist with customer complaints, escalating where required
  • Additional administrative duties including board room preparation and stationery maintenance
  • Credit Control

 About You:

  • Passion for creating a positive customer experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail and focus on accuracy 
  • Effective time management skills
  • Able to apply discretion with handling of confidential information

 Role Requirements: 

  • Previous customer service experience (highly desirable)
  • National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Willing to complete a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol screen
  • Driver’s license and reliable transport
  • Experience using computers and applications such as the Microsoft suite and willingness to learn other software programs
