Maxima has been engaged to recruit a Mr. Fixit Maintenance Officer for an ongoing position at our client and Aged Care Facility in Murray Bridge.
About the role:
This is a full-time casual position, Monday to Friday some weekend work – Potential permanent placement for the right candidate. You will be working in a progressive and rewarding environment completing General Maintenance duties around the facility.
You will be able to prepare and maintain annual maintenance plans/programs and assist with asset management planning initiatives.
Respond effectively to daily Maintenance Action Requests.
Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements for essential services and safety.
Inducting, overviewing and managing contractor performance to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective outcomes.
Duties Include:
- Basic Repairs to doors & windows – latches, rollers etc
- Basic repairs to timberwork including fitting doors and fixing / replacing door and window framing, architraves and alike.
- Cabinetmaking – including fitting cabinetry and basic repairs to cupboards, doors and drawers.
- Patching and Painting (plaster / plasterboard)
- Operation of a range of power had tools and static cutting / Moulding machinery.
- Other duties as required by management.
About you:
You are well presented and have good interpersonal skills and can pass a medical and police clearance.
Ideally you will be trade qualified. E.g. Carpenter etc.
