About the Role
As the Maintenance Stores and Materials Officer, you will be responsible for the effective management of maintenance stores, materials, inventory, freight, and procurement services supporting maintenance operations across a geographically dispersed network. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely supply and movement of materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and providing outstanding service to internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing inventory levels and ensuring stock accuracy.
- Picking, packing, dispatching, and coordinating deliveries of materials and equipment.
- Supporting procurement and purchasing activities in line with organisational processes.
- Conducting stocktakes and maintaining inventory records.
- Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ensuring safe storage, handling, and transportation of goods.
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across stores and logistics operations.
About You
You are a reliable and safety-conscious stores professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while delivering excellent customer service.

Required Skills and Experience
- Current High Risk Forklift Licence (essential).
- Current Driver’s Licence (essential).
- Strong computer and administrative skills.
- Understanding of procurement and inventory management procedures.
- Experience in stores, warehouse, inventory, or materials management environments.
- Experience with stock control, inventory systems, and logistics coordination highly regarded.
