Marine Operations Co-Ordinator

Embark on an exciting journey as the Marine Operations Co-Ordinator with one of our long standing clients. You will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of port operations.
 
Reporting to the Harbour Master, you’ll be at the heart of the action, supporting marine activities and contributing to the ongoing development of the Port Management and Information System (PMIS).

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline vessel vetting processes

Provide critical support during emergency management procedures

Coordinate approvals for various ship-related activities and events within jurisdiction.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Support the management and operation of the PMIS VOYAGER system
  • Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate the Vessel Vetting Process
  • Assist the Harbour Master’s Office during emergency management procedures
  • Coordinate approvals for events and ship-related activities within Fremantle Ports’ jurisdiction
  • Provide technical advice and support for various projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in marine operations and/or port operations
  • Current Australian C/CA-class driver’s license
  • Valid Maritime Security Identification Card or the ability to obtain one
