About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to undertake servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a varied fleet of vehicles and equipment. Working in a professional workshop environment, you will contribute to keeping essential assets operating safely, reliably, and efficiently.
  
Key responsibilities include:

  • Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing light vehicles, trucks, and plant equipment
  • Fault finding and preventative maintenance activities
  • Completing workshop documentation and service records
  • Assisting with welding and fabrication tasks where required
  • Maintaining a safe, organised, and productive workshop
  • Supporting workshop operations and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

About You
You are a trade-qualified mechanic with strong diagnostic abilities and experience working on a range of vehicles and machinery. You take pride in delivering quality workmanship, prioritising safety, and working collaboratively within a team.
You are reliable, adaptable, and capable of managing workloads to meet operational deadlines.
  
Required Skills & Experience

  • Automotive trade qualification or recognised equivalent
  • Experience repairing and maintaining:
    • Light vehicles (passenger cars)
    • Heavy vehicles (trucks)
    • Plant equipment, including excavators
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence
  • HR Licence desirable
  • Forklift Licence desirable
  • Excavator and Loader tickets desirable
  • Welding and fabrication experience highly regarded
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
