Mechanical Fitter

As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliable performance of our state-of-the-art mechanical equipment, from ship loaders to conveyors.

Preferred Requirements:

• Perform planned and breakdown mechanical maintenance support to achieve safe and reliable operations
• Conduct programmed inspections of mechanical equipment and machinery to identify and address any issues
• Leverage your dogging and rigging expertise to assist with wire and grab changes, ensuring efficient and safe operations
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of heavy industry equipment, including conveyors, ship loaders, and stackers
• Demonstrate your ability to work effectively as part of a team, with strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant mechanical trade qualification
• Forklift license, EWP, confined space, and working at heights certifications
• Highly advantageous: Rigging and dogging tickets with demonstrated experience
