Maxima have been engaged to recruit an experienced Nursery Assistant for an ongoing casual position based in Murray Bridge.
About the Role
Working on a casual basis 2-3 days per week including weekends.
You will be working in a professional team and will be responsible for a range of customer service and horticultural duties including:
- Customer Service (in person and over the phone)
- Providing guidance on plant purchases to meet the customer’s requirements
- Propagating Plants
- Filling up soil tubes
- Stock rotation
- Watering
- Weeding
- General tidying up / nursery duties
Hours are generally 8:30am – 4:30pm each day that you will work (weekdays or weekends).
About You
You are passionate about gardening and ideally have Nursery Assistant experience or horticultural qualifications. You understand the benefits of building trusted business relationships and developing rapport with customers to ensure repeat business. You have reasonable work fitness and are flexible with the hours that you generally can work.
