Package Lead

Our long standing client is seeking a high-performing Package Lead to drive the end-to-end management of critical work packages on their project. This is a role where you’ll have the opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the region’s essential bulk trade services.
 
Key Highlights:

• Lead the execution of complex, high-value work packages from design to handover
• Oversee contractor performance and manage seamless integration with live port operations
• Develop and review technical specifications to meet stringent operational requirements

Preferred Requirements:

• Lead the execution of assigned work packages through all phases: detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover
• Oversee contractor performance and resolve commercial or execution issues while managing the seamless integration with live port operations
• Develop and review technical specifications, scopes of work, and tender documentation to meet stringent operational requirements
• Monitor and report on package-specific KPIs, including schedule progress, budget adherence (forecast vs. actual), and risk registers
• Coordinate with operational teams to ensure assets like conveyor systems or storage domes are integrated without disrupting essential bulk trade services

Preferred Qualifications:

• A degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 7-10 years of demonstrated experience in project management, construction management, or engineering design within heavy industry
• Proven ability in writing technical reports, specifications, and statements of work, with a deep understanding of engineering design and safety standards
