Maxima has been engaged to recruit a suitably experienced Parks and Gardens Labourer for an ongoing role with a well-established company based in the Northern suburbs.
About the Role
Initially a casual position through Maxima, with the possibility of ongoing / fulltime work after a trial period. You will be helping to fulfill the requirements on a range of parks and gardens contracts across local and commonwealth government, as well as private schools aged care facilities.
Working hours will generally be Monday to Thursday, 7.00am – 3.30pm and Fridays 7:00am – 1:00 pm (weather permitting).
About You:
You are physically fit, hold a current driver’s license and are experienced across a range of garden maintenance activities including:
- Front Deck / Zero Turn Mowing
- Brush Cutting / Whipper Snipping / Leaf Blowing
- Weed Spraying
- Tree Pruning
- Irrigation (repairs)
- Line Marking (sports fields)
You also hold or will be able to pass
- National Police Check
- DCSI – Worker Check (Vulnerable People + Working with Children)
- Pre-Employment Medical – Including Drug and Alcohol Check
