Maxima’s Recruitment team are chasing experienced Parks and Gardens labourers for positions based in Noosaville. This 9-day fortnight position will see you working with a well-known local council undertaking general horticulture and landscaping tasks on a casual hourly pay of $33.46 + super.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in horticulture and landscape maintenance tasks associated with parks, gardens and landscaped areas adjacent to roadways
- Continually observing the general condition of landscapes, parks and associated infrastructure within the designated work area
- Ensure that all daily documentation and reporting is completed on time (e.g. Timesheets, prestart reports Log Books, Incident Reports etc.) and report operational and safety matters to the relevant officer and supervisor
- Participate, as required, in the after-hours duty roster and provide assistance during emergencies such as floods, bushfires, etc
About You:
- Current MR truck license
- White card
- ACDC advantageous
- Experience in a hands on horticultural, landscaping and arboriculture role
- Experience in working with and maintaining parks and associated infrastructure
- Ability to operate relevant equipment (eg: chainsaws, brush cutters, chippers, blower vacs, etc)
- Physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting and bending
