Maxima’s Recruitment Services are seeking a Risk and Compliance Officer for a position based in Marsden. This role, working Monday – Friday 38 hour weeks, will see you provide workshop staff with technical support, lead investigation and resolution of complex systems issues and manage and review the Paint and Panel automotive repair contract.
On offer is $42.96 p/hr + super.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and advise on changes, improvements and developments in maintenance equipment, services and procedures
- Collaborate in discussions affecting business efficiencies
- Undertake detailed risk assessment of new Plant Fleet and Equipment
- Participate in the quality assurance of Workshop activities through audits, testing and inspection functions
- Lead role in supervising and managing contracts and suppliers to maintain relationships that produce works and services which meet the compliance, performance and contractual obligations of the contract
- Provide contract administration and contract management in analysing, addressing and resolving unsatisfactory supplier performance and contractual disputes for Plant Fleet Services
- Conduct risk assessments on plant, fleet and equipment ensuring compliance to Australian Standards
To Be Successful:
- A qualified tradesperson in the field of motor mechanics, heavy diesel equipment is highly regarded and/or proven significant experience in the mechanical field on a wide variety of plant items and the operation of a plant workshop
- experience in contract management, managing suppliers, leading successful negotiations and ongoing vendor management
- Highly developed organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
- Experience in fleet asset compliance and risk assessments using third party applications
Licenses Required:
- HR truck license highly regarded
