State Government Administration – Temporary Opportunities Casual Pool

Maxima are currently looking for candidates with the below experience for upcoming temporary opportunities within state government departments. A great way to get your foot in the door, as a temporary contractor through Maxima, you will be entitled to competitive hourly rates, subsidised flu vaccination, employment assistance program and other great benefits. Duration of these temporary assignments can vary from 4 weeks to 4 months, with the potential to extend past the initial engagement period. *Please note that this ad is not for one specific role, this is an expressions of interest for multiple upcoming opportunities. 

These roles are based in Adelaide CBD and Port Adelaide and are full time hours, Monday to Friday.

In order for you to be considered for these roles, you must have experience in any of the following:

  • Payroll
  • Finance/Accounting
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Call Centre 

As well as:

  • Experience in state or local government (desirable)
  • Current National Police Clearance (required)
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Data entry skills
  • Ability to manage high volumes of work
  • Ability to travel to Port Adelaide and/or the CBD (either via public transport or personal vehicle)
  • Willingness/availability to work full time hours (38 hours/week)

Some of the roles available are:

  • Payroll Administration/Data Entry Officer
  • Payroll Call Centre/Customer Service
  • Accounts Receivable/Payable Officer
  • Assistant Accountant/Finance Officer (these roles require extensive previous experience in similar roles)
