Maxima’s Recruitment Services are seeking an experienced Storekeeper for a position with their client, a well-known local council based in Marsden.
Working Monday – Friday with a casual hourly pay of $36.00, this role provides support to the administration manager through the Stores supervisor in the effective utilization of the responsibilities as they relate to the stores function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receipt of stock and direct purchase consignments
- Quality inspection of incoming goods
- Location of stock within warehouse
- Technical inspection of stock while in storage
- Input of stores transaction data to the computer
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all stores locations
About You:
- Current C class driver’s license
- Current Forklift license and confident operating
- Demonstrated sound working knowledge of inventory control principles
- Possess ability to communicate and deal with people at all levels and to make prompt reliable decisions within bounds of allocated responsibilities
- Physical capacity to perform the functions of the position
