Host Employer:
Maxima, and our Host Employer, City of Onkaparinga, are looking for two motivated individuals for an entry level position in their Customer Relations team. This opportunity is in a call centre environment, working full-time, Monday to Friday, undertaking a 12-month traineeship while studying a Certificate III in Business Administration.
Duties Include:
- Answering phone enquires in fast paced call centre environment
- Providing information or directing enquiries to correct team member or department
- Understanding internal procedures to resolve routine problems within the limits of the role
- Participate in on-the-job training, develop knowledge of the Customer Relations function, systems, policies and work practices.
- Follow council policies, procedures, standards and instructions, including customer service, records management, WHS and equity and diversity requirements.
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
About You:
- Good communication skills and confident with speaking on the phone
- High attention to detail
- Display initiative and a hardworking attitude
- Ability to prioritise tasks and juggle various deadlines
- Strong customer service focus mindset
Role Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications and confident in operating technology
- Hold a National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Willing to complete a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol screen
- Follow and demonstrate the Council’s organisational values
- Uphold high ethical standards when handling confidential and sensitive information and records
