Maxima has been engaged to recruit a positive team player with transport / logistics experience for our client, based in Gillman, South Australia.

About the Role
Initially working as a general hand / loader, (Grade 2 Employee) you will be involved in:
- Operation of materials handling equipment
- Basic (non-trades) maintenance
- Breaking down / building up of pallets
- General stores work
At this level, you could also be required to wash vehicles, communicate with / direct drivers to the correct location etc
After a trial period you could be provided with Forklift Training and will then be trained to Load / Unload small shipping containers with a 9-tonne counterbalance forklift,
At this level (Grade 3 Employee) you will receive a pay increase.
Once fully competent with loading the small shipping containers, you will be provided with more training, so that you will become confident in the operation a 40-Tonne Container Forklift
At this level – you will now receive a (Grade 5 Employee) rate of pay.
Working hours are generally 7:00am – 3:00pm with overtime available most days.

You are healthy person, who has the following attributes / abilities.
- The ability to pass a full medical, including Drug & Alcohol testing.
- Hold a current National Police Check or the ability to attain.
- Works safely, efficiently, and independently
- You are a reliable team player
- You take pride in maintaining equipment standards
