About the Role
- Tree planting across parks, reserves and council spaces
- Digging, mulching and general ground preparation
- Assisting with watering and maintenance of newly planted trees
- Operating tools and equipment safely
- Supporting council horticulture and open space teams as required
- Outdoor physical work across varying weather conditions
To Be Successful
- Physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work
- Previous gardening, landscaping or horticulture experience preferred
- Certificate III in Horticulture highly regarded
- White Card preferred
- MR/HR Licence – Essential
- Machine operating tickets (Backhoe/Tipper Truck/Skid Steer/Excavator)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well within a team environment
