TURF SERVICES OPERATOR/ GROUNDSPERSON – Local Council
$34.64 + Super
Maxima, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced Turf Operator / Grounds person to join their team! Undertaking specialist turf maintenance and general labouring functions you will work within the Redland Bay region throughout parks, roadside and conservation areas.
This position will see you work Monday – Friday with a casual hourly pay of $34.64 + super through to March 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain large ride-on equipment or other plant/equipment used in turf maintenance services
- Carry out a range of Parks and Conservation maintenance and construction labouring duties as required
- Follow WHS protocols
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in working in large-scale, high volume turf mowing and maintenance
- Experience operating large ride-on equipment
- Ability to undertake physically strenuous labouring tasks and functions for prolonged periods of time
- Current C class driver’s license
- White Card
- Strong communication skills
