Maxima’s Recruitment Services are seeking Verge Maintenance Team Members to undertake Horticulture type duties within a Local Council based in the Western and Northern Suburbs. If you love the great outdoors these roles could be for you.
These are ongoing positions with the possibility of Permanent positions for the right candidates, working fulltime hours Monday – Friday with a casual hourly pay between $30-$35 depending on what licenses you have.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mower Operations.
- Whipper Snipper Operations.
- Weed control.
- Operate minor plant and equipment
- Rubbish collection
- Comply with WHS legislation and regulations
To Be Successful:
- Previous experience in Horticulture/Gardening or general labouring.
- Front Deck Mower experience (Desirable – Not Essential)
- Drivers Licence (Essential)
- Certificate III in Horticulture (Desirable – Not Essential)
- Chemcert advantageous
- Ability to use desktop/ tablet/smartphone
- Physically fit and healthy
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
