Maxima has been engaged to recruit a Warehouse HR Truck and Forklift Operator for a specialist Air Freight company providing import / export services for international freight.
About the Role
Initially a casual position with the view to permanency after a trial period. Located at Adelaide Airport this role has a blend of Truck / Forklift Operation with manual handling and general stores work.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am until 4:00 pm (with weekend work available)
Duties include:
- Truck Delivery driving – in / around the Airport Precinct
- loading / unloading trucks with a forklift
- Breaking down & building up of pallets.
- Use of a pallet jack
- High attention to detail
- Keeping warehouse clean & tidy
- Adhering to safety, security and procedural requirements
About You
You are a friendly, physical fit and reliable person who is willing to attain the following:
- High risk forklift license
- Able to pass a medical
- A National Police Clearance (we can help with the application)
- Able to pass the ASIC process (government background clearance)
