Sham’s Beauty Products, a Youth Employment success

With a commitment to making beauty products available to all people, Maxima’s Youth Employment Customer Shamira has an entrepreneurial spirit.

At 18 years old and having recently graduated Year 12, Shamira is Deafblind and lives with movement issues, causing her the need to use a wheelchair – as far as she and her family are aware, Shamira is the only person in the world with this exact condition.

Through her Perth-based business Sham’s Beauty Products, Shamira makes her own soaps, hand creams and scrubs, which feature braille on their labelling to assist the visually impaired. Shamira also gives hand massages with her products, a personal touch her customers love!

Communicating with customers through her Phonak device which is linked to her cochlear implants, Shamira has not let anything hold her business back, recently requiring more support from Maxima and her family to keep up with demand!

Offering corporate packages for businesses and a wide range of products, you can keep up with Sham’s Beauty products here.
