As a provider of the Inclusive Employment Australia service, we will help you find roles that suit your skills and interests, access training and development to grow your career, and receive the workplace adjustments and support you need to succeed.
We also help employers feel confident about hiring people living with a disability, injury or health condition to join their team.
What Is Inclusive Employment Australia?
Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) is a new specialist disability employment program. From November 1, 2025, it replaces the Disability Employment Service (DES) program and assists people with disability, injury or health conditions including mental ill health to prepare for, find and maintain work, and build lasting careers.
What are the benefits of Inclusive Employment Australia?
Inclusive Employment Australia opens up more opportunities for people with disability to find and keep meaningful work. Participants will receive tailored, long-term support from providers like Maxima who understand your needs and goals. There are no time limits on participation, and you can stay with us for as long as you need – even if you’re working only a few hours a week.
Am I eligible for Inclusive Employment Australia services?
You are eligible for the Inclusive Employment Australia service delivered by Maxima if you:
- Are an Australian resident or hold a relevant visa.
- Reside in Southern Adelaide (SA) or Perth/Fremantle and surrounds (WA).
- Have a disability, an injury or a health condition – including mental ill health – that impacts your capacity to work.
- Are receiving an income support payment, disability support pension, or are a NDIS participant.
- Are aged between 14 and 67.
- Are not studying full time (unless you are an Eligible School Leaver).
