Maxima’s Elkira named Finalist in the SA Training Awards 2026

We’re proud to share that one of our own Trainees and Maxima Team Member, Elkira has been named finalist in the 2026 SA Training Awards, for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year Award – and we couldn’t be prouder!

Having commenced her Business Traineeship at Maxima, Elkira has built a strong foundation that led to her gaining a permanent role within our First Nations team as Administration Assistant. Alongside her positive attitude, strong work ethic and pride in her culture, she is a fierce advocate for promoting First Nations youth education and employment pathways.

We wish her the best of luck as she looks forward to the 2026 SA Training Awards, where the winner will be announced in September.

Elkira was recently interviewed by FreshFM as part of their Fresh Careers Podcast – Have a listen to her interview here.
