What we do
At Maxima we work alongside our partners, assisting organisations to meet their First Nations employment goals.
Our clients are committed to improving outcomes for First Nations peoples and our programs provide a practical way for businesses to make a real difference in their lives.
Our recruitment process offers advertising, reviewing applications, initial interviews, aptitude testing and reference checking: resulting in a shortlist of high-quality candidates for client interviews.
Maxima manages police checks, functional assessments, drug and alcohol testing, medicals and coordinating contracts (as required).
For unsuccessful candidates, Maxima notifies individuals and discusses alternative pathways.
Indigenous Employment Programs (IEP)
As well as recruitment for permanent and casual roles, we also coordinate a variety of full- time, part-time and school-based traineeships and cadetships for clients including Bupa, NAB, Westpac, Commonwealth Bank, ANZ, Australia Post and local and state governments.
First Nations Traineeships
We offer part-time and full-time traineeship opportunities for First Nations people. Traineeships allow you to learn new skills from supportive colleagues, get paid and gain a nationally recognised Certificate III or IV qualification.
First Nations Student Cadetships
Maxima offers exciting opportunities for First Nations students to complete a variety of Cadetships with Westpac Group. From Banking to HR, Marketing and IT, with a cadetship, you can gain paid work experience in a field that is relevant to your chosen career path.
First Nations School-based Traineeships
School-based Traineeships are available to First Nations students completing year 11 or 12. Get a head-start in the job market with a nationally recognised qualification, all while getting paid to learn new skills.
