Maxima is a not-for-profit employment services and training organisation with a 30-year history – a community organisation supporting people in their pursuit of meaningful and fulfilling work across Australia.

We are dedicated to demystifying disability employment and promoting the employment of people facing barriers. We want to make it easier to employ staff with disabilities – we see disability as a form of diversity, one which will enrich and enhance any workplace.

Our five-year strategic plan says a lot about our strengths and the things we care about:

  • assisting people with an injury, health condition or disability to gain and keep meaningful employment
  • upskilling new entrants and existing workers
  • closing the gap in Indigenous employment outcomes
  • helping other disadvantaged minority groups to find their way into the workforce

We are driven by a desire to make a real difference and are rewarded every day by the life-changing outcomes we create for our inspiring clients.

Our passion has made us a leading player in the Federal Government’s Disability Employment Services program, and consistently rated as one of the country’s top performers in achieving outcomes for job seekers.

Why should you choose Maxima as your disability employment provider?

The best people to answer that question are our current customers and employers. So, we asked them.

We commissioned a comprehensive research study to ask our customers and employers to describe the “Maxima difference”. That is – what sets us apart?

This is what they told us:

we care We go the extra mile, we show a high degree of understanding and care. We don’t treat customers like a number, we take the time to understand their barriers to make sure they can be placed into roles that best suit their capabilities and skills. We also treat our valued employers with care and respect, providing them with staff that are the best possible fit for the needs of their organisation.

we listen We act as a business partner to our valued employers, actively listening and questioning to best understand their business needs. We also help with the recruitment process, assisting our employers every step of the way to save time and expense – and to ensure they get the best results.

we deliver We want your new employee to be a success in both the short and long term. After the employee has commenced, we regularly keep in contact with both the employee and employer to maintain positive communication and to keep everything on track through our Employment Support Program.

Our ongoing employment support provides support to you and the employee – for as long as you need it.
